I am moving into a new apartment and it does not have a Saorview box and I do not have one either, so I was wondering does anyone know where to get a cheap good quality combi one, that picks up the satellite channels as well.

Also I purchased my TV from amazon and it has freesat on it, now I know that does not work here, but will Saorview work with the TV, it is a Cello SEG32100DVB.

Cheers, does it make any difference that the TV is set up for Freeview.

Freesat does work here in conjunction with a satellite dish but are you referring to Freeview?

Saorview requires a receiver with MPEG-4 video decoding, does the spec in the manual mention this or the older MPEG-2, used with Freeview in the UK? The best way to be sure is to connect an aerial receiving Saorview at the moment.

Sorry I meant Freeview, yeah it has DVB-T (MPEG2) so I take it the combi boxes will not work with it?

The Combi box will work OK with that TV as all the signal processing is done within the combi and just sent to the TV for display via a scart or HDMI lead, bypassing the TV's tuner.
