Just wondering if Ive applied to susi and the grant hasn't been approved by September.

Whats the minimum amount I would have to pay(if any) of the charge by September?

    Cheers!

You have to pay the capitation fee regardless of getting the SUSI grant or not.. Its €160 IIRC, but that will probably go up this year. but if for some reason you are deemed ineligible for a SUSI Grant youll have to pay €1,410 asap, and then the remaining €1,250 is due in January.

You don't need it paid by January. They just say that. I didn't pay mine till April.

Regarding the capitation fee of €160, must that be paid annually or is it a once off payment in 1st year? In other words, going into 2nd year, will I need to pay it again?

You have to pay that every year, it covers mardyke membership, student health services, clubs and socs, students union and a lot of the student services.
