i have two fairly old bikes which have been in storage for about four years in my folks attic; didn't have room for them for the last few years, but circumstances have changed so they'll be coming out again soon.
just wondering if there's much work they might need; i suspect new tyres, but should it just be a case of dropping them in to a decent shop for a service, or would they be OK to hop back on and continue as if they hadn't been stored?

one is a 2002 hardtail stumpjumper with hydraulic disc brakes, the other is a road bike with 105 groupset. is there anything i'd need to do or check on them before bringing them back fully into commission?
