    I'm sure that board will be fine to learn on. As long as you aren't too large(6 1/2ft high or 20 stone!). If you plan on buying from bundoran surf co, give them a ring and see what they recommend. They're nice guys and wouldn't mind steering you in the right direction.

    If you don't mind a used board, try to get a used bic surfboard. Those are indestructible and will serve you well to learn on. Try adverts/donedeal or 'surfboards for sale' group on facebook.
