If so, wondering about that middle seat in the 2nd row of seats. It looks very narrow in a lot of the pics I see on the net, can it hold a booster seat? Or an adult?

Unfortunately not. In reality the Mazda 5 is really only a 6 seater, as the middle seat is pretty unusable.

Unless it is a really small & slim person nobody will be be able to sit there at all, at least not with any kind of comfort. My mother in law can just about squeeze in there, but she is only about 1.52m tall and some 45 kilos.
