greenway cycle with kids

recently heard about greenway and sounds great,thinking of doing it with my wife and three kids only problem is de eldest is just gone 3 and de youngest is seven months so obviously won't b up for cycling.The plan is to hire 2 bikes and 2 trailers,just wondering has anyone been in similar situation and how did it work out…
