Compensation in repeats

    Hi,

I have two 10 credit modules to repeat this month. My lecture has told me that if I pass one and get at least 30% in the other one, I will get 50 credits out of 60 which is what I need to pass the year.

I'm afraid he is wrong though as I'm not sure would this be allowed in the repeats? So do I need to pass both in the repeats or can I compensate one with summer exam results? (as I got over 60 in other modules). Sorry if I'm not explaining this clearly as very nervous. Any help is very much appreciated.
