Audi a4 b7 cigarette lighter warm but not hot

Just thought I would put this up, I was looking for ages but got so much info about fuses and everything, ok so if it is the fuse that is the problem, it's the fuse board on the side of the dash on the drivers side, the bit that's covered when the door closes, it fuse number 33, info on back of panel, it's a 20amp yellow fuse,
My problem wasn't the fuse, and the light went out aswel,
I removed the whole lighter and uncliped it and unplugged the wire, brought it in, cleans the bottom of the connector and while it was out I pushed the lighter down but it wouldn't stay down, so I pushed the 2 clips in on the 2 sides, it's the earth as far as I know, and over time they push away from the lighter and no connection is made. Hence why it gets warm from the live but not hot, max 5 min fix, cleaned the connection for the light aswel,
    Hope this helps someone!
