    Hi all,

I have an important interview coming up soon.

I've got a grey suit, white shirt, red tie. Looking for a pair of black shoes to go alongside it. Just want to know what people think of the below.

I'm unsure if they're professional enough. Should all black be better?

    Those shoes are lovely.

The shoes are OK, but I'd go for a pair of shoes that you could polish and make shiny.

I wouldn't consider those shoes professional.

Try searching for an oxford rather than a derby and get a pair that doesn't have a different colour on the trim of the sole and heel block.
