BMW 318i - 2001 - Brake pads + discs + sensors + shoes?

Hey, so it seems like a time to replace my brake pads and discs.
When braking the car goes a bit to the left, the pad wear sensor is on, handbrake does not hold no matter how much I tighten it, and brake discs have formed about 1-2mm lip around them.

Last owner seems to be a drifter so that could be a reason the handbrake does not hold (assuming brake shoes are worn out).

When I brake I can hear high pitched scraping sound from my front left wheel.

So any suggestions where in Dublin to buy all that stuff? Or would international sellers be better? any suggestions?

    car: bmw e46 - 318i - manual - sedan - 2001

    Thanks.

if the brake sensors are gone there is a good chance you will need to change the brake discs as well as the pads. just make sure you buy good quality pads and discs like ATE or Pagid or Textar . id avoid the likes of ebay because there are a LOT of chinese knock offs on there that look real but are dangerous . try the likes of www.otto.ie they have shops in dublin and galway and cork and sell quality parts

or if you want to buy online then http://www.mister-auto.ie/en/

You will need to replace the sensors too otherwise the wear indicator warning will still show up on the dashboard. The sensor wears with the pad so needs to be replaced at the same time.

cut the wire going to the sensor and join the wires together and no need to replace sensor

I suppose you could but wouldn't see the point really myself given the sensors are not really that expensive to buy.
