    If you have a medical card or are getting a student grant then you are exempt from the Government Levy fee of €200. You have to pay the rest though. Not sure if you do if you get the back to education allowance.

    If you can get onto the vtos scheme, they pay the fees for fetac courses.

    the college themselves usually have a vtos co-ordinator, the can organise it for you if your eligible
