    /Routine...

I had my teeth thoroughly cleaned by the dentist yesterday and they look better than they ever have, I am really keen to keep them in this condition, though I'm not sure if that's possible as I drink 2 cups of coffee a day and 2 or 3 cups of tea so they do become quite stained :o

Here's my plan (Hope it's ok to name products)

Morning: Brush thoroughly for 3 or so minutes with Colgate total.
    Rinse with the purple listerine.

Quick brush at some stage in the afternoon.

Night: Floss between each tooth, brush for 3 minutes and rinse with listerine.

If I'm ever concerned about my gums I use kin mouthwash.

Does that sound ok? Interested to hear what others do.

I know I'll probably have to give up the teas and coffees if I want them this white, they really do become very stained looking after a few months :(

I'll probably go back in 6-8 months for another clean anyway even though she recommended 12.

If you are brushing and flossing effective and you have no preexisting gum/ perio issues then you are unlikely to need the kin. Kin will allow the tea and coffee to stick to the teeth much quicker....

yeah i'd drop the mouthwash altogether. the way to brush at night is to spit after and not rinse.
