System is seen a lean fueling condition and has added fuel to a point where it should not need to be.

An air intake leak or many other things can cause this but a common one on Nissans would be the maf. You could try cleaning it, very gently. A new one is in excess of €500 from Nissan, aftermarket one is a waste of money imo.

You really need to get it on diagnostics to see properly what's going on and causing the lean condition.

is the maf built in to the airflow meter?

MAF sensor = Mass Air Flow Ie it is the airflow sensor.

No offence meant, but my advice would be to bring it to someone who knows what they are doing and is equipped to make a definite diagnosis. You don't want to damage the sensor and it may not be the problem in the first place.

I dont know where you are in Co Meath. But I would recommend Christy Doyle Enfield Doyle's garage. He's well equipped to deal with diagnosis of Jap cars and knows his stuff and also a gentleman to deal with.
