Anyone watch this show here? I only came across it there a few days ago and never knew it existed. Its on challenge tv on sky.

But my god, that host is annoying. The topics were sort of interesting and they do interview some wrestlers, but seems to be mainly TNA wrestlers, but the host and fake banter ruins it. There was a gorgeous blonde on the panel who knew a lot about wrestling which must be as rare as a unicorn :p

So thoughts on this show if you've seen it, and are there any other wrestling discussions shows on sky?

    WRESTLING FOR BLOKES!!!

Not a fan. At least Soccer AM had funny sketches.

I preferred when he used to do those podcast interviews with WWE and Tna stars. On Youtube, a few of those interviews are up with Steve Austin, Chris Benoit and William Regal. Far more interesting then his show which is basically a TNA Approved show. He is annoying as a host as he's trying to hard to have his like a Wrestling version of Soccer AM. The Guy with the beard is an annoying interviewer too but the Girl is hot.

There are 2 girls that appear on it, believe it or not. :)

What gets me about it is the fact that it seems to be filmed well in advance as they don't talk about recent happenings and only time they act up to date is by saying something like "Wrestlemania is on tonight". Which you would then expect to be discussed the next week then. But nope

+1 for the host being annoying. Such a little marky dweeb, he makes it hard to watch for me. The beardy guy who does most of the interviews isn't too bad though.

What ever happened to Justine on it, she was lovely.
Preferred the 1 hour format they used to have, the show feels a bit rushed now in a half an hour slot.

Watched an episode. Joel's that guy from the Sun who did tons of interviews. No real positives besides it's great to see a wrestling discussion show on TV. The show isn't particularly smart or funny and Joel's quite overbearing, it comes off as desperate to keep your attention - maybe that's just the compressed run-time. I found one considered point from the whole episode (the girl gave a list of stars who didn't come from the indies). I dunno what you could do in 22 minutes, but I certainly wouldn't include an 8-minute interview. I'd much rather hear them run down the news of the week and the main talking points from RAW/iMPACT.

I also watched tonight's episode and I've seen a few others. The thing about it is that they just don't have very much insightful analysis or anything interesting to say. It's basically just a bunch of people having a chat.

@Jay, you guys should get on to some of the community TV stations and see if you could get a slot to do a TV show
(*though obviously you couldn't use WWE footage much like WretsleTalk :/ )

This is what I mean about it being taped too far in advance. Does anyone know when it is taped? Since it is taped 2 or 3 weeks in advance, they're probably trying to avoid anything too topical since it's old news by the time it airs, so instead they just find a subject and run with it while having news stories added onscreen.

That really speaks to TV being an out-dated format for wrestling. Talking current wrestling needs to be done within the week. It could definitely be overcome by taking a topic and discussing it, but they superficially grazed it...as if none of them did their homework beforehand and winged it. I'm perhaps expecting way too much actually.

Not sure how much of an improvement it is but the new season of this started last night and it seems more up to date as the presenter referred to AJ's pipebomb.

Like a previous poster he has good interviews from his podcast he did a few years ago, but can be really annoying and loud sometimes. The girls involved are alright, obviously big fans but don't offer anything more than that. Last night was the perfect example, they where talking about how if wrestling was entering a golden age they didn't give there opinion, all they said how Raw in its 3 hour slot isn't as bad as they taught it was going to be, at least Joel can hold a conversation.

Justine was good, but left for whatever reason she has her own videos up on Youtube with the likes of Chris Jericho and Mick Foley. Patrick Lennon is also good, he's one of the producers.
