Draining out fuel, anti siphon device

A friend just rang me there said he put unleaded in his 1.7ctdi astra.
so he's leaving it overnight in the petrol station and needs a hand draining it tomorrow. He put about 15lts into an empty tank.

AFAIK it has an anti syphon device

Having just changed the fuel filter housing on my own I was just going to disconnect the incoming fuel pipe to the filter.
hook it up to a hose
turn the key and let the pump do the work.

    This sounds too easy tho?
Any tips or other suggestions welcome!

    Cheers
