    Hi

Im trying to use the free version of this app for the first time but I am told that new registrations are not currently being accepted from people in Ireland.

Does anyone know when the registrations will be open again?

    Thanks

I had the same problem. I tried it a few months ago and again this week and both times I couldn't register. I'd really like to get it working, but I don't want to pay for it until I know that it works properly!

I'm the same. Would like to try the free version before even considering paying for it.

I've had the free one for nearly 3 years now, started paying for it recently. (Thought it was worth it)

My only problem is that recently it has started to drop the last digit of int callers numbers in the app.

eg, if one of my contacts in the UK called me and I missed their call. If I had them saved on my phone as John, and the number was +44 775123456, the app is dropping the last number, and so it displays +44 77512345 the app thinks this is a new number.

So it won't recognise folk which means I can't call them back directly from the app. Nor can I leave individual Greetings for them either.

Still a great app though. Anyone on 3 bill pay that gets charged for voice mail should definitely have it.

I have found a way for Irish users to register. I came across this by chance last yesterday:

    1) Purchase the premium hullomail app for the play store.
    2) Straightaway, create a hullomail registration via this app.
    3) You'll get an email so confirm this.
    4) Then go to the play store and ask for a refund for the premium app (I think you have 10 mins from when you bought until requesting the refund)
    5) Download the free version of hullomail and sign in using the account that you just created.

    These steps worked for me.

Does anyone see much benefit from having the premium app?

Yeah, does the same for me with caller from UK

    Thanks for that.

Bit annoyed I can't use all the functions I've paid to use now on it. Hopefully they'll sort it out.

Don't forget to get on to the developers...........

I contacted the support crew several times but they claim that never heard of the complaint until now.

We are investigating this issue. Can you please send an email to support@hullomail.com for further support please.

HulloMail relies on its app commissions from Google and Apple to run the service. Believe it or not, Ireland is currently the most expensive country to run our service in, and in isolation is actually a loss leader for us. We are in the process of discussing support of our successful Freemium Model in UK and USA with Irish Carriers. We will keep you posted.

We are in the process of obtaining a new number range to support New Free App Registrations. Unfortunately until then we can only support new registrations by a purchase of the Paid App.

@HulloMail do you have any time frame for your app to work on the Nexus 4?

That's odd, I downloaded it yesterday with no problems at all

It tells me not available in my country or for my carrier

I am in Ireland and with Meteor

Tried getting it from the website and same result

Well have to give the developers a lot of credit, I emailed them about issue I had (with app dropping last digit of certain phone numbers) and they have fixed it already and emailed me a couple of times to let me know what's the score. Hopefully other issues here will be sorted.

There's a list on the app page. 48 not on it, but might be no harm emailing them.

In fairness I went and bought the app anyway sometime later this weekend as I wanted the premium version. Is there anyway that I can get voicemail a transcribed to text for free using something like evernote?

The scribe function that is available in hullomail is extremely expensive and I could not justify paying for it.

Thanks for subscribing to Premium. To our knowledge there are no free transcription providers.

For HulloMail to work your carrier needs to support Call Forwarding. According to the literature Meteor does, however our users experience was different where call forwarding would stop working after a couple of weeks. They nor us could get any support from Meteor with regard to the problem and so we had no choice but to postpone support for Meteor.

I wouldn't mind being a beta tester if you want to use me to try to get it working. I could also be good at hounding Meteor support to try to get them to assist:D

Is eMobile supported by Hullomail? If not, are there any plans to support this network?

I think its more if the network supports Hullomail most times.

With Meteor they don't allow the prefix used by Hullomail so it won't work. I have been annoying Meteor support and trying to get them to change but no luck so far (I am good at annoying people so I won't be giving up anytime soon!!)

    Hi

how did you set up Hullomail to work on the emobile network. In the app, you can change your network and settings but neither emobile nor meteor are options. The only networks are three, o2,vodafone and tesco

I would really like to hear if someone has found a way around this?

thanks for that. I have a premium subscription and the latest version of the app from the play store. However, the only network choices that I have are tesco, o2, Vodafone and three. I do not have the option to select meteor that you seem to have.

    Thanks

I emailed hullomail support and they got back to be quickly with th of below response

Unfortunately we don't support Meteor, this is due to Meteor not
    supporting conditional call forwarding.

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Kind Regards

No luck with Meteor - I have tried to get them to support this but they don't seem interested. Maybe if a few people start annoying them (as I am doing via email and posting to their forums etc) they will change their mind

Hullomail support have been very helpful but unfortunately Meteor are not as helpful

Anyone having problems with push notifications?

I'm not receiving any missed calls or voice mail notifications unless I constantly refresh.

On 3 bill pay, and I'm a subscriber to the service if it makes any difference.

Anyone else having problems with the app this morning?

I'm getting notifications, but when I click on the mail, the app isn't playing any audio. Either through phone earpiece or loud speaker.

Calling my mailbox sorts the issue, but this is annoying. Even older mails aren't via the app.

Can someone please check theirs and let me know if the problems confined to me.

Just installed it for the first time on a new Android handset.
I'm a Premium subscriber but I'm not seeing anything - no old messages.
That could just be my account though, I've changed handsets a lot.

Recent feedback in the Play Store does note similar issues to you.

Get them on Twitter, they're great at replying quickly

Sorted. I'm in a brand new car for the first time this morning. It's something to do with bluetooth. Once I disconnected from car bluetooth, it's all back to normal.

Brilliant app. One of my must haves.
