World Beers.. (Beers of the World?)

Was shopping in Dunnes Stores in Bishopscourt Cork this morning and they have a selection of the World Beers at 5 for €10.00.

I didn't take a whole lot lot of notice of them all,,but they had Erdinger,Honey Dew,Young's Chocolate Stout,Banana Bread Beer.

Not sure of stock either,,so best get them while you can.

I had a few pints of World Beer a few months ago, must buy a few cans of World Beer the next time I'm in an off-licence.

Hi guys..

Just to update this.....Was out in Dunnes again this morning,,and the offer of the 5 for €10.00 is still going.

But they have now added mix 'n' match as well.

So you can select any 5 of the beers for the €10.00.

They have Beer Lao as well, not sure is it in the deal though. Its a bargain at any price!

How much a bottle? is it the proper stuff do you know?

God i love that beer, prob won't taste as nice as when drinking it in vientiane but will still travel way out my way tommorow to dunnes to get it.

Its the proper stuff, 680ml bottle and all. I think it was about 3 euro a bottle. I got it in Dunnes in Stephens Green last week.

the post with money off a certain spend so better again
spend 40 and get 6 off or spend 80 and get 12 is what I got

20 black erdis in my case for 36.50 tastes sweet to me esp when
tesco aren't doing these in their 3 for 7 offer (2.99 each)

no asahi or tiger in that offer

Not a fan of spaten myself

I buy rossini from aldi but am wondering if they
still sell it as it wasn't there last week
might as well be peroni as I find it hard to tell
one from the other

I bought a bottle a few weeks ago, would be very surprised if they stopped selling it. It's a real gem, really nice and very hard to find a beer as good for the price.

Have a thing for world beers at the moment, basically because I'm not drinking that much anymore and like to try new beers with different foods etc and not just to get pissed.

The 3 for €7 in tescos was quite good. Will keep eyes peeled for deals.

Would love to get some beer Lao or Chang in for my Asian dinner this weekend!

Dunnes Stores normally have large bottles of Beer Lao (640ml) for around €3.60 or thereabouts.... also they have a 4 beers for €8.50 deal on at the moment

Half way through my first ever bottle and I can say it is one
of the nicest (top3) beers i've ever tasted and i've tasted an awful lot
seems only dunnes do it of the big supermarkets and it is 3.60 for
a 640ml bottle
