So I had a bash at Tritahlons and hate swimming so I want to just do Cycling races or running races on there own rather than combining them, I have checked out cycling Ireland but there are no events, I am looking for TT races that anyone can join in as long as you have a licence etc, I would also like to do long endurance events century rides etc. Can anyone advice me on what to do? I am a member of a tri club for another few months and all their TT races are done and I joined after they were finished.

At this time of year TTs tend to be few and far between. A few club leagues will have the odd one, but there are not many "Open" TTs (there was a 10m TT put on by Sorrento a couple of weeks ago and Cuchulainn usually run the Leinster TT championships in the Dundalk area)

There are regular TT events throughout the season in Ulster (www.cyclingulster.com for details) as well as a number of events in the other provinces, but evening racing us drawing to a close over the next few weeks and weekend racing does tend to be dominated by Road races

In addition the Irish Veteran Cyclists Association put on a number of TTs (for their members only) and there are a couple of 50 mile events still to be run by them
