Idea for a 'heads up' thread for folks of interesting stuff to watch out for, images and discussion.

July 27, 28 - Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower. The Delta Aquarids is an average shower that can produce up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by comets Marsden and Kracht. The shower runs annually from July 12 to August 23. It peaks this year on the night of July 27 and morning of July 28. The second quarter moon will block out most of the faint meteors, but you should still be able to catch quite a few good ones if you are patient. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Aquarius, but can appear anywhere in the sky

I just happened upon it, didn't know it was due at all, but had seen it once before and was shocked at how bright it was, and it sure was bright again tonight :)
I'll recognize it for sure now if I see it again.

    There's 2 nice long ISS passovers tonight, 10:23 PM for 5 minutes & 11:58PM for 3 Minutes

Also The Perseid Meteor Shower is starting to bubble up, will peak next Monday night/Tuesday morning but the weather at the moment is looking better for Sunday night/Monday morning watching, will start a thread tonight or tomorrow (if someone doesn't do it first!)
