Cost of Galway to Dublin on motorway

Any idea on what it costs these days? How much is the toll, roughly how much in petrol?

Tolls are €1.90 and €2.90. Petrol is generally between 1.58-1.61 per litre. An hour is 60 minutes long and a year has 365 days.

I've done Sligo to Dublin and back in a 1.2 Corsa, with 3 adult men in, on half a tank. And also in a 1.4 Astra with just me in on a half tank.

Probably no indication. Similar distance, but nearly all motorway (from galway) v national road/DC/Motorway (from sligo).

Corsa. Smaller engine, heavier load, smaller tank.
Astra. Larger engine, lighter load, larger tank.

No many variables OP.

Typical efficient car @ 6-7l/100km

12-14l * €1.50 = €18-21

...for example

it's uncanny, but the distances from Dub to Cork Limerick and Galway are all multiples of 50km

Dub->Cork 250km
Dub->Limerick 200km
Dub->Galway 200km

Makes using the l/100km system a cinch

I did Dundalk to Galway (so 80-85% of that route) for about €90-95 including tolls at 34MPG in a 2.8 petrol about 2 years ago, account for 10-15% hike in petrol.
