Trying to repair an old PACE box (Not even mine) Trying to identify the 3 legged component attached to heat sink? Also what other components is it recommended to replace when changing this part? I've checked all the electrolytic caps, none popped or short circuit, are the transformers on these know to fail?

    Thanks.

    Thanks GBCULLEN,

I know the box is practically worthless, but I have access to electronic pcb repair equipment and spare parts, and as I said it's not my box, I was asked to take a look by a chap in work, the component is that badly damaged I can't identify it.
This is just a bit of a distraction away from my day to day work.
