BOI ATM Card for new account?

Hi, I opened a new student account last week with BOI and received today an BOI ATM card with no expiry date and no chip? Will I get a VISA debit card as well or can I switch to a VISA debit card somehow? I assumed that new accounts nowadays would get a direct debit card after the successful roll-out. Thanks

Hi dadidum,

You would be best to contact your branch to request a Visa Debit card. If you are under 18 years of age, parental consent will need to be signed before a Visa Debit card is issued.
