    Hi,

I have a big concrete anchor (was used for rotating clothes line) that I'm looking to dispose of. It measures approx 12 inches cube.

I've tried breaking it with a sledge hammer, but apart from breaking off pebble sized chips, am getting no where.

Any advice on how to dispose of this please?
-should I persevere with the sledge
    -can I bring to a recycling/dump

I find it very heavy, even to lift onto it's side.

    Thanks in advance

Dig a hole along side and tip it in.

If burial is not an option there are a few ways to break it up into more manageable pieces.
    - Keep chipping away at it with a cold chisel and lump hammer. Perhaps let loose the sculpturer within you.
    - Cut it up with a con saw, or an angle grinder with 9" diamond disc.
    - Drill loads of holes deep into it then break it up with a lump hammer & chisel, or with a sledge.

Lie the wheely bin down beside it and roll it in.
