Cost per sq M for a tiler

    I'm trying to get quotes on redoing a bathroom and some of the prices for labour are nuts.

    I have 22 sq m of tiling to get done plus toilet, sink etc replaced and the plumbing that goes with it.

    What should i expect for a GOOD tiler per sq metre?

    Same question for plumbing.

    Tiler - 15 - 20 euro per square metre.
    Plumber - 150 - 200 euro per day.

    for a more accurate price you could post this in the 'Prices/costs' sub forum in 'Construction & Planning'.
    Provide as much info as you can ie:Area of wall tiles/area of floor tiles/type of tiles/is there any change to the positions of sink,toilet etc/whether you are going to strip old items and tiles yourself or pay tiler or plumber to do this.

    We have just done our bathroom this week. Tiler took down all the old wall and floor tiles, removed rubbish, etc and it was 24 square meters of floor and wall tiling, worked out at 750 in total. He refitted back the toilet, etc.

    Whoever you are getting, make sure you see previous work or refer from somebody you know.

    Tiler should be between €15 and €20 per sq mtr. Some tilers can move sink, toilet and bath but advisable to get plumber. Tiler should be able to recommend a good plumber. Try Tradesman.ie
