So as the title says my Mk 4 side mirrors aren't adjusting. Any ideas here? I'm stumped. There is a knob on the door to adjust them but its not controlling the mirror.

Try the fuse and then the bit of wiring loom that passes into the door at the hinges. Wires often break there.

    What fuse number is it?

Not sure which one, 38 maybe. Try them all after you check the bellows in the door

No all the fuses are fine anyway.

If neither works it points to a central issue. If it's not the fuse it could be the button itself.
Remove it and check the connections.
