A friend of mine is heading for what will probably be a long term stay as an oncology patient in St. James’ and I have a logistical questions if anyone can help?

Is there somewhere her husband can stay (they are from Limerick) close by – B&B’s are of course an option but does the hospital have a facility for family members of very ill patients?

I know Ronald McDonald house exists for parents of sick children and in Cork there is an ‘open house’ for families of very ill people of all ages (as long as they live a certain distance from the hospital) – anything similar in Dublin? Thank you...
