Radiators?????

    Lads will a 360 and 280 be enough rad for xfire 7970`s and a sandybridge.Both overclocked.

    Reason being im seriously looking at the new corsair air 540 and would like to try my hand at water..

    I take it your loop will be reservoir>pump>280>cpu>360>gpu>gpu>reservoir? Also what chip is it and how far have u pushed the overclock, what current temps are you getting? The reference 7970's runs a little hot with the stock cooler, can get really good temps using liquid.

    Chip is I5 2500k @ 4.6. temps are around low 70c(noctua nhd14 cooler) playing bf3 and the gpu 74c.

    The loop will be as you said.

    It would be more than enough. I ran an i7 950 at 4.5ghz and a dual 5970 on two thin 240mm rads which cooled enough. Would easily cool with both of them a sandybridge cpu and them cards

    As deceit said you will have more than enough cooling from those two radiators.

    Are you sure you want to do a custom loop? Your temps aren't high at all, at 70c for 4.6 that Noctua cooler should be able to push for a higher OC. The GPU's are also running quite cool.

    I can run it @4.8 all day in winter..Just turned it down a tad as the house was heating up the last few weeks....

    Its not that I need to watercool...Its I want to watercool...

    And a lot quieter also when I upgrade to haswell I wont have to worry too much about the heat issue..:cool:

    Actually you will. Haswell isn't hot because the coolers being used aren't good enough, it's hot because Intel decided to save €0.50 and use cheese between the die and IHS rather than thermal paste, and water won't help this (much).

    That said, watercooling is definitely something I'd vote for, and if you de-lid your 4670K (but not your 2500K!) you'll see massive gains.

    As the others have said, that amount of radiator will be plenty, just make sure you get decent fans. (Gentle Typhoons for the 360, and NF-A14s for the 280).
