sorry for asking silly question but what is the difference between a slurry pump and an agitator?

can anyone recommend a make/model. I just have two '2 bay sheds' - one tank is 8 foot and the other is 7 foot

Almost all such machines on the market are slurry pumps, which are used to agitate the slurry. For example, NC 3000. These can be fitted with a valve on the top, to allow you pump the slurry through a top pipe into a slurry tanker with an top opening, or across into another tank. Strictly speaking, I suppose, the long "whisk" type machines are known as "agitators"

You will pick up a second hand NC3000 for about 1000 to 1300 euro. Or you could get a chap in to mix your tanks, probably makes more sense, as it would take years of paying a contractor before you had the price of the pump spent. Also you will need at least 90 horse-power to drive it.
