    Im not sure

But have you also applied for a SUSI grant to pay your 2500 fee?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Have a read of this thread. May prove invaluable.

Other than that I'd imagine you'll get a letter in the post to confirm if you get your BTEA (think that's what I got). If not, just contact them to find out :)

Have my form filled out and a few pages a3 stable together for notes in with the form. Now I was told my a mate even though its not said to this, he reckons that I should include stuff like, Proof of the cao offer, past exams, birth cert and basically what I have been doing in the last to years and anything they may request again.....He told me just to scan the documents and put them in the envelope with the form to save time,,,should I do this ?? Will they request this info ?? Thanks :)

Nope,, you have to apply for student grant and they might pay your fees but in my case I do not think they will as I was in college 2 years ago, pulled the full student grant but failed so...?? :/

You have to pay the Student Contribution Charge of €2250. You can apply to SUSI for it, but the deadline is today for applications

If I dont, there goes my plan to go back to college as i couldnt afford them fees.

    From Student Finance Website
    1. "A ‘second chance student’ is someone who , did not successfully complete an earlier course and is returning to do an approved course after a 5 year break in studies."
    2. "If you already have a third level qualification, you will not get a grant if you start a new course at the same NFQ level."

You should get a letter to tell you if you have been successful in your BTEA application :)

Can't remember how long it took when I applied. Give it a week or so and maybe give them a ring and keep after them ;)

Once you meet the income limits I'd say you should have no problems.

No. You need to apply for a SUSI grant. Tonight is the deadline.
