Cannon 600D with 300 lens package. Good value?

I saw this on the Currys.co.uk site and am thinking of getting it this weekend.

Bearing in mind that I'm a complete beginner who's trying to do street life and outdoor sports events, do you think it's any good?

Seems ok from the online research I've done and it's (just) within my budget.

Your better off buying the body on its own and buying a lens to go with it . The lenses that come in this bundle are not great , though they are OK for beginners.

You are better off not buying from Currys as they are most likely ripping you off .

You can get the 600D With 18-55 IS on Amazon for the same price as the Body in Currys

As for Spare lenses , This or This would be good for you starting out .From 18-55 , 55-250 you will get wide angle through to mid Telephoto .

You will get either of these much cheaper second hand , have a look on adverts

What attracted me to Currys UK was the price difference between it and the ROI stores. But, the lenses you linked to are better according to online reviews.
