Re-setting Service Indicator on 2009 Mini Cooper?

    Hi everyone, I really need help with this one.

    The service light comes on the dashboard every time I put the key in. I am going to get it serviced in the next few weeks, but I want to re-set the light now anyway.

    BTW I think it is the oil service light that is showing.

    Anyway, I have read on numerous sites how to do this, by holding down the button on right hand side of the rev counter, however this only brings up the VIN info on my car and not the service info/dates like I have seen on youtube tutorials.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
