Where are you based? Alan Mooney Photography does these, they're lovely.

I got ours done with Bumblebee photography, she's based in Mullingar but she came out to my house and she was fantastic. She has a Facebook page if you want to look at some of her pictures. She specialises in Newborns :)

I'd recommend George Kelly Photography. Brilliant photographer, have used him and friends too.

Absolutely beautiful pictures, similar prices to pixiphotos but the quality is a 100 times better. He travels also

If you have the money (and we didn't realise how much it would be before hand) then Giggles and Smiles in Malahide are fantastic.

They are more than others but the photos are brilliant and I, personally, am glad we went there.

Find someone who specialises in this as its very difficult to do correctly and takes a long time. Another that specialises in this is Moments.ie who are very good as well. I used to do this myself so I know how difficult it is to do.

You are running out of time though as the optimum time is the first two weeks as after this the brand new newborn look begins to disappear and they are also harder to keep asleep while moving them around for pics.

Thanks everybody for the replys, currently ringing around all your advise and recommendations are helping, running out of time never realised the first two weeks was the ideal time!!

Yeah if you want the really posed cute baby ones before 2 weeks is a must after that its not easy at all to get them but you can still get some gorgeous pics just not as posed :)
