Where to get books (free books) for Nook Simple Touch?

Just bought a Nook Simple Touch but then discovered on Nook (Barnes and Noble) website can't download any ebooks outside US. Any ideas where I can get ebooks and preferably to start off any free ebooks. Im at a loss here. Thanks

There's plenty of free content out there that you can access from Ireland - if you're based in Cork or Dublin - you can even take out books from the library using overdrive.

If you have a desktop/laptop then you should start looking at Calibre
