My wheels are off being refurbed, I'm getting them powder coated and lacquered, whats the best way to keep them tip top when I get them back, will my regular shampoo and wax do or should I get more wheel specific products?

Best thing to do is get something like Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour, and apply it before the wheels go anywhere near the car. As they're being refurbed it'll have a perfectly clean surface to bond to. It'll make cleaning them a lot easier in future, you won't need any specific wheel cleaners - most of the dirt will powerwash off without any need to touch them.

It seems expensive, but with most gtechniq products a little goes a very long way. There's enough in that small bottle to do 4 wheels, and it'll last for a year at least.

This isn't actually the way it works. The C5 is the exact same thing as C1 crystal lacquer and despite what you may think, it doesn't give the hydrophobicity you would think. It does however give a much more scratch-resistant surface.

If it's hydrophobicity you're looking for, use Gtechniq EXOv2 instead.

Picked the wheels up today, really pleased with them, is like a new car, I'll get some pics up when this monsoon stops. Now I'm gonna turn my attention to the calipers, just have to decide on a colour, what yis reason on a black is200 with silver wheels? I was thinking either black or silver, keep it subtle

Another vote for black. The only colour for calipers IMO . Gives a nice clean look:)
