What would you consider a good margin that would make bettinig accross say 30 games of football worthwhile. I think 5 - 10% would make a nice return. Anyone think this is achievable/worthwhile? Obviously if you are betting £1000s then 5% is a nice cut but I'd only be in the £10s or £100s

If you are basically asking what is a good long term ROI then the majority of professional gamblers are in the region of 4%-8%.

Depending on what study you read 98%-99% of gamblers lose.

You could potentially get a 15% ROI if you bet one match a week and you research about 50 but I would rather have a 4% ROI and bet 5 games a week.

You have to put things in to context.
