Lighting Question

Any model railway builders may be able to help. If you wanted to light the interior of buildings or signal lights etc what do you use? I think what Im looking for is LED strip lighting.. so where could you pick up some of this stuff? They can be a bit pricey online. Any pointers welcome

hornby do cheap lighting from what im aware of.
