Golf Society ?

Hi Hows it going all I'am currently looking to play more regular golf an maybe get involved in a society or get involved with a few lads off this who is up for a game ??. Problem is I dont know anyone involved in a society and no local pub is involved in anything like that around my way.

Boards have a golf society which plays once a month good craic and great bunch of lads

If you check the stickies at the top of the thread list there is a Boards.ie Golf Society Thread with details. I think Tulferris in Wicklow is the next outing. I'm in a similar situation as you jayunot777 so i'm hoping to get to the next outing as a guest member. Hopefully i'll get to join a course in the coming months

There's also the "arrange a game" thread. Bang up there if you are thinking of playing an area on a specific day and you could find someone to play with.

Plays with Courtneys Pub society down in the village, and used to play with the Foxhunter until it closed.

unfortunately we are near the end of the society year (already!!) but there is an event coming up in Tulfarris that you are more than welcome to come along to. The events we played this year are all here in this thread

Why not pop along and enjoy the day out. Don't worry about ability as our handicaps go from 2.5 to 28. They are always good fun and we have a bit of banter after about the "if only that putt sunk etc!!"

I live in lucan, I dont play society golf but Ive seen societys advertised out of The Lord Lucan, Cournteys and the Pennyhill. Might be one out of Kennys too I'm not sure. Ask about

OP ive been playing on boards society this year, well worth coming along, nice bunch of lads, some good golfers and good banter.

im not to far from you in Castleknock, so if you ever fancied a game and i'm allowed off the leish, luttrelstown and castleknock do some great deals
