What will I have to pay?

    Hi guys,

I'm starting a masters in UCD in September.

I know how much my tuition fees are so that's fine. However when I did my undergraduate in UL I had to pay registration fees/student contribution and a student levy at the start of the year.

I see on one of the UCD pages that my tuition fees will include the student levy but it says nothing about the registration fees/student contribution.

Can someone clarify whether the reg fee is included in the tuition fee?

For example on this UCC page (http://www.ucc.ie/en/study/postgrad/cost/) it says:

On acceptance to a postgraduate course, Students are liable to pay tuition fees to the University. University fees are set each year and include the registration fee, tuition fee and examination fee.

    Thanks for your help!

Usually UCD just total for EU or non-EU. The only breakdown they mention is the Student Levy. I'd assume that the rest is inclusive of reg fee, exams etc. You could email the student desk for clarification though.

I'm fairly sure UCD postgrad fees are inclusive of tuition and student contribution and student levy.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
