Just wondering if anyone is doing the 110k Ring of the Reeks on Saturday, or has previously done it? I couldn't find any Boards posts on it. It's organised by Beaufort GAA and Killorglin Cycling Club.

expecting up to four hundred cyclers on saturday so it will be a fairly compact cycle...

There will be plenty food supplied with 2 stops en route and one at the end

Had a go of this today, extremely well organised event, the Hang Sangiches and the HIGH5 energy powder at the Blackwater Tavern despite the downpour were a god send, huge congratulations to the organisers on a very well run event, the massive pan of pasta and the ladies dishing out proper mugs of tea at the finish topped off a great day, next year I will keep up with the Jeep at the front .... !
Once again well done, had a great day of it.

.. that Ballaghbeama Climb was a ...was a...was a....I just cant find the words to describe it!! A BITCH... that's it!

Well organised...enjoyed the Chinese Pasta at the end.. and the home made buns with icing on top! Well done to all in Beaufort.

Probably the hardest spin I have done in my short cycling life. I''ll be back.

I've climbed a lot of hills throughout Ireland, ballaghbeama must be most beautiful.

Did ye climb it from Glencar or did ye descend into Glencar?

Top marks to the organisers. Excellent stewarding, amazing scenery, huge amounts of good food &drinks, challenging route and great community vibe and facilities afterwards. Really enjoyed this regardless of the few warm soft rain showers. I'll be back! :-)

We descended into Glencar...tricky enough with Tourists coming up against you..in the Wet.. with worn brake pads...
