phone in France ..help

    hi all going to France for 3 weeks could anyone have any info on the best way to keep in touch with each other while in France and the odd call home to Ireland all help would be most great full regards Ben

    If you have a smartphone and can access wifi on both sides then Viber is the way to go. Viber to viber calls and texts are free, I use regularly to Switzerland but have had calls from as far away as Brazil and they've been perfectly clear with a teeny tiny delay.

    viber or Tango is the way to go.... and if you have no wifi a txt to ireland is only 13cent...

    well im still in France weather lovely just to let ye all no what i did after all ..i had my phone so when i came to France i went in one of the big supermarkets and bought an( orange sim 10e) (and put 500mbs for 10e) now the data only lasts 2weeks or which ever comes first . it classed as holiday vocher so no calls or texts. now i could have got one for 20euro with free calls and text &150 of data . but i didn't bother because i don't speak French so no good to me. so data for and done most things on the net... so just to let ye all no Regards brendan
