Well, Lah-Dee-Dah, thinly veiled "I own a toothbrush" thread.

I get the feeling OP has been sitting at a laptop since Friday

Wondering what topic they should start on AH, the little cursor line flashing in the text box constantly teasing them.

4 days later and this the best they could do.

I have a better question. Why do toothbrushes exist in soft, medium and hard? Every dentist I've ever been to has specifically told me that medium is perfect, but hard is excessive and bad for your gums. There I was for years, assuming that 5 minutes intense brushing with an unflinching brush was doing wonders for my oral hygiene when in fact it was apparently slowly eroding my gumline like the sea does the coast. Is there a reason for this hard toothbrush? If experts are so against it, why does it exist?

It's like those 'electric' toothbrushes you can buy in the Euro2 stores.....the handle vibrates furiously but the actual brush head remains static.

One of those cheap ones from aldi or tesco or somewhere. I don't really put too much thought into the colours.

You can remove 80% as much plaque with a piece of fabric as you can with a toothbrush apparently.

So a toothbrush is better than a piece of fabric for brushing your teeth? Who'd a thunk it??

Mine is Dolphin Daze and White on White going by the Dulux colour chart.
