    Anyone know the costs involved in getting a Beer & Wine Licence for a restaurant?

    Have a look here. You will need the services of a solicitor to do this as the procedures are quite cumbersome and the court sittings for licences are irregular.

    Anyone know the costs involved in getting a Beer & Wine Licence for a restaurant?

    If the premises has not been licensed before it could be up to 15k depending on the level of professional input needed.
    There could well be architect, solicitor, counsel, advertisements, courts fees and extensive documentation to be prepared.

    Thanks guys.Why would I need an Architect or counsel?? The restaurant is in existence already.

    If a venue requires/d or proposes any modifications or a change of use then they may be needed to show that all is in order. An architect's report may be relevant if a premises has not had a licence before or if it is a premises with some element of heritage bestowed on it.

    That aside, you should find a solicitor with experience in alcohol licences to assist your application. They'd be better able to advise you on pitfalls.
