PAYE Anytime - Emergency tax claim

Hi I'm hoping someone can help with this as the information on revenue.ie wasn't too clear to me.

I'm trying to claim back emergency tax I paid in 2012, I have my P60 so I know how much emergency tax I paid. So on the P60 section B part 3 it says Net tax deducted was 239.57 and says "Use this figure in PAYE Anytime".

I have logged onto PAYE Anytime but can't see where to make this claim. I'm thinking it is in the PAYE Tax Credit section (please see attached picture). Can anyone confirm if this is the right section?

If it is the right section do I just open this section put in the amount from my P60 and make the claim?

    Cheers

Hit "Request a P21 Balancing Statement"

Edit - update the PAYE Credit so it shows €1650 first (assuming you are not a proprietry director )

Great, thanks for the help. My PAYE Credit was already set to €1650. So is there anything else I need to do or will I just get paid back in the next few weeks?

That's all , just request the p21, inputting the info from your p60

If I paid emergency tax last month before my 12A went through on a new job can I claim it back now or do I have to wait until the end of the year?

If you are still working there and a tax credit cert has issued to you and your employer on a normal basis then your employer should issue a refund in your wages if one is warranted.

Great thanks. They've messed up our payslips two months running now so I'll get payroll to add that along with the missed salary.

Just noticed a rake of money lodged into my account from somewhere, didn't think I would get my tax back so soon. Thanks Citizenpain ^_^
