Empty beds at the end of July - anything from seed that I can plant now

Anybody any ideas - I have a few empty plots that could do with something growing. I have lettuce and salad stuff already at different stages. Not great for cabbage in this house - so that would be a waste. Thanks

Still time to plant autumn carrots , look for one with a short growth and they will be ready in Sept. Still time to plant mangetout and of course lettuce should be planted now.
