My BMW e36 the fabric on the shuttle for the sunroof was coming away and jamming the sunroof, the glue was over 14 years old, I removed the shuttle and reglued down the fabric but its coming away again, either I did a bad job or could be the high heat we're having the last 2 weeks. I've decided to replace the fabric altogether. Does anyone know where I can get the fabric for the shuttle or else somewhere I can get get some fabric cut to size? and glue that on instead

Depending on the colour, you should be able to pick up a second hand cassette easy enough. I swapped out a grey one for a black one recently and it was handy enough, although a bit awkward - pics and guide are here.

You're going to struggle to get the exact fabric match if you simply retrim it - although Nolans Autocar might be able to help, they do quite a few headliners.

I was going to say Nolan's Autocare out the old Naas Road do a few, I was in there looking for a seat re-trim quote only two weeks ago and am pretty sure I saw one being done out the back.
