Where on vlc is the chassis number?

    Car isn't here at the moment so can't check under the bonnet
    And can't find the chassis number on the vlc
    Am I blindly missing it?
    Can find the vehicle identification number but no chassis number?
    Is this one and the same thing?

    Scratch it
    After 13 mins on hold I finally got through to motor tax office
    It's one and the same
    For future reference for anybody I read on another thread all chassis numbers are 17 digits long and this number was only 11 digits but was told over the phone that the vehicle indentation number is the chassis number
    So sorted:-)
