    hi guys,

    I have an audi TT quattro 225 2001 convertible but the Mrs. is demanding a roof and a decent boot

    So here's the checklist:

    as fast as the 225

    driveable in bad weather (not necessarily 4wd)

    fun to drive or at least good pokey cruiser

    decent boot we recently took up kitesurfing

    road tax under 1k

    budget 10-12k

    i really looked at

    i drove one before they were great fun but 1800 in tax plus at least 1 grand ins nevermind the upkeep

    also thinking a really well spec'ed 2008 golf gti

    or a saab 93 Viggen as an interesting alternative(mildly hot car and apparently good space and really comfy long distance) thats if i can find a good one

    I'm also thinking of ignoring the tax insurance and weather requirement cos those e46 m3s are so tempting at the money

    anyone any ideas so I dont end up single, with a straight 6, and 10 points on my license?
