Summer Internships, 2nd year Science

Hey all! I'm going into 2nd Science in September (studying for the joint degree in maths and Computer Science) and I was wondering if anyone had any info about the summer internships. How to get onto them, what the workload is like on them, what responsibilities are involved, etc. Cheers. :)
