Magdalene issue a distraction?

    So I was thinking is the whole issue from the Magdalene laundries and the lack of contributions just another cynical move by the politicians in Government to distract from the real news that everyone should be pissed about.

    Don't get me wrong I think the issue is important and discussed but it seems awfully convenient that everyone is no longer paying attention to the release of the anglo tapes just as the dail is going on its extended summer holiday.


    Who decided to highlight it and how long had they known there was no contribution?
