    Simple question- does anyone know if it is region free? Have some region 1 DVDs that I'd like to watch.

    The model number might help. Doubtful but you never know !!

    Thanks Ken.

    No mention of a model number on the box. Found out today that Philips DVD players can be configured for region 0 with remote control. Got one from Dunnes and it worked a treat!
